| Hail Stranger! |
| Malice to the rescue! |
|
We set out from the Hatchet Hills with a purpose - to journey to the deep forests of Zul'Aman and rescue the unfortunate, imprisoned trolls whose burning fate we wished to avert. We marched through the temperate forestland of towering trees, dark shadows and ancient ruins, swiftly dispatching all those who dared to cross our path. To the south we went, with no fear of Nalorakk and his minions. "Who you more afraid of? Dem... or me?", he screamed at his troops, and we all knew what the answer was. "You be dead soon enough!", he cried as Elchef and Tharghil bravely charged forward, swords held high. Solomontas just shrugged as he began his incineratation. Zaqzon laughed maniacally while throwing shadow bolts as Beltuk just sat there, impassively, exuding his aura. Deliverence called upon the light, Hondadylan drew upon his mastery of the power of nature and Zouribinio prayed, all doing their best to keep the warriors from harm. The exploding gunshots of Ptar and Amulet rang out across the forest floor, bullets tearing into Nalorakk's flesh. "You call on da beast, you gonna get more dan you bargain for!", called Nalorakk, desperately as he used the last of his powers to transform into a giant bear. "That's nothing!", shouted Druisilla, "Bears don't scare the likes of us!", as he fired flame after flame towards the hulking beast. And, sure enough, the Amani lord of bears could hold out no longer. "I... be waitin' on da udda side....", he croaked as he slumped to the floor. A shout from the side caught our attention. "Yippee!", whooped Tanzar, "I'm saved!". ![]() Tanzar jumps for joy! We'd done what we'd set out to do, and Tanzar was more than happy to reward us with an item from his chest. "Ah, some of Tanzar's tings still here, mon! Take dis [Shadowcaster's Drape], you gonna need it to free da rest!", he said. ![]() Tanzar thanks a Malice represenative for his rescue! Druisilla gladly accepted and, after escorting Tanzar back to safety, we celebrated our first Zul'Aman rescue. We will be back to rescue more; Akil'Zon's prisoner will be rescued, as will the rest. We have already tamed Halazzi, Jan'alai is desperately training more hatchers and Hex Lord Malacrass is having to placate a furious Zul'Jin, trying to explain why Malice are on the march towards their seat of evil, the Shrine of Ula-Tek. ![]() Jan'alai to 29% on our first visit; a valiant start! Hail Malice!

| Malice's 2008 - So far... |
| Malice in Zul'Aman |
|
There is no stopping Malice. Having tamed the beast that was Bear shaped, and getting within 2 minutes of claiming the timed chest... it was time to move on. Eagle Lord Akil'zon Running the gauntlet sometimes takes its toll - especially when new raiders join the ranks and have not seen the trash run to Akil'zon. You either love or hate this 5 pull trash run, but whichever it is, simply getting to the boss feels like an achievement. And then Akil'zon thinks he can trouble Malice with his Electrical Storm... think again... Akil'zon, you're fired! Lynx Lord Halazzi After killing the Eagle Lord a few times, and taunted Halazzi once or twice it was time to once again reap havok in Zul'Aman. Halazzi thought he could throw down a few totems and cast fear into the hearts of Malice. Little did he know that we are used to dealing with Epic-clad Shaman with attitude. In fact we tend to recruit them and tame them as best we can... Hondadylan's leading of the Malice raid meant Shaman versus Shaman fun. The carnage began, and the carnage ended. Halazzi, you're fired! ![]() And finally... Just because Boney-N gave us so much trouble as we tried to clear that tower in Deadwind, here's a picture of few Brown Raiders in the Ring around the corpse of Medivh's Dragon Child, all by the Rivers of Karazhan... ![]() Hail Malice! |
| High King Maulgar Takes A Hiding! |
|
We entered the portal and prepared ourselves for the fight ahead. Flasks were handed out, buff spells were cast. We ensured we were all well fed and watered. Swords, axes and daggers were sharpened. Staves were oiled. Maces were weighted. We were ready. The trash fell by the wayside, and we drove forward to face the vicious High King Maulgar and his minions. Blindeye the Seer was blasted, Krosh Firehand was toasted, Olm the Summoner was permanently banished and Kiggler the Crazed was sent to the big mental asylum in the sky. Only Maulgar was left standing, lonely, desperately performing his Whirlwind and trying to work out which of his enemies he should try and charge next. It wasn't long before we solved the dilemma for him, swiftly dispatching his spirit. ![]() Go take a hike High King! Many congratulations to everybody who took part. After a couple of practices of the pull, we all had it sorted, and it was only a matter of time before he was going to go down. Gratz to Detk and Daley on their T4 loot! ![]() Celebrating the victory - we ain't scared of no ogre! We plan to return on Monday to show Gruul that, now, nobody will stand in our way. On Monday, we will show Gruul that he is no match for us! |
