Malice made their first foray in Ulduar today...

An Elite group of 10 Malice raiders ventured into the hewn rock of the Seige of Ulduar and hunted down the Flame Leviathan at the rear of the Formation Grounds. Our very own Hell's Angels taunted the oversized work of some Gnomish drunken party, while intrepid adventurers were flung on its back to disable the turrents mounted there.

Driving skills and persistence endured, and the oversized tractor succumbed to our might.

First boss down, and counting...

Hail Malice!

Malice have worked hard to take down Malygos. A number of visits have seen the errant dragon with less than 6% of his health before he finally thwarted our attempts to tame him.

With the opening of Ulduar to tempt our raiders, but the desire to nail Malygos once and for all - without the expected riches of Ulduar to aid us... when everyone else went to explore new places, Malice returned to the Eye of Eternity...

And tonight Malice got what she deserves. Malice got justice. Malice got Malygos!

Congratulations to Malice, and in particular the ten intrepid raiders who were happy to forego a visit to Ulduar, endured world instability, and finally triumphed against the Spellweaver.

It's patch day... so try the following things...

Download the patch before you need to log on.

Log on in plenty time before the raid starts.

Make sure you have latest version of oRA and Omen (links to follow), and any raid critical addons for tonight's raids.

Please do not waste time working on non-critical addons, they can be fixed tomorrow.

The patch should not be hard on addons, but if any appear to break, just disable them - they can be sorted tomorrow.

Just when the dragons thought it was safe to go out at night... Malice teach them otherwise!

In the first all guild Heroic Raid, Malice ventured into the Obsidian Sanctum. A total of only 21 raiders got together to Best the Black Dragonflight! Great job and congratulations to all the raiders, and may this be the first of many such nights!

In aid of Comic Relief, and just because it is fun... Malice went all Vanilla tonight!

The night started with a two stage race.

Phase one saw Dinac and Hondadylan lead a group each into the depths of Onyxia's Lair, Zul'Gurub, and Ahn'Qiraj... the race was on... who would get back to Orgrimmar first, with the hides of three bosses...

Dinac and his trusty crew prevailed. He would call it tactics. Hondadylan suggests it was luck. Either way... half the raid were eliminated. Phase two beckoned...

Find Detk. The hunt was on, and the hunter that found the Hunter... was Huiy! Congratulations to the hairy-assed Druid on his sack of spoils!

At this point, the guild turned to Blackwing Lair and Ahn'Qiraj. And an achievement was had for many raiders on killing C'Thun.

Congratulations to all 30 raiders during the course of the night, and thanks to all who helped us raise a wonderful £140 for charity (and a few more pounds promised, so get donating).

Malice can now claim to have faced Malygos and, although he remains undefeated as yet, our attempts have taken him down as low as 27%.

With a little more practice, he will fall, and Alexstrasza will have her day!

After Thaddius fell, Sapphiron was despatched.

Kel'Thuzad was killed.

Malice decided it was a night for a triple whammy of raiding. We began by warming up in the Vault of Archavon, followed by hotting things up a bit in the Obsidian Sanctum. Finally, it was time to keep our cool in Naxxramas and finish off the final boss standing between us and Kel'Thuzad's lair, Thaddius.

So, we began our journey.

And Archavon the Stonewatcher watches no more.

The rein of Sartharion over his precious eggs is at an end.

Dinac felt he needed cooling down...

Thaddius was dishonourably discharged.

And, with a quick mop-up of the Military Quarter, we transported into Frostwyrm Lair to eye up our next target Sapphiron.

He wasn't quite ready for us...

But then it was late, so we weren't quite ready for him either! We took a quick snap for the album and gave him a warning... We'll be back!

Gratz all on our trail of very enjoyable destruction!
