Time to dust off ye olde guilde blog.

As many have seen I made a silly joke on April 1st about me moving to Plymouth. Now this wasn't entirely true / faulty as i'll be in Plymouth from 9-13 April again to visit Zara. For those who don't quite follow, I gladly direct you to my previous blog entries where you shall find info, pictures (we kinda look bad on that one pic... Swordai used it to make another picture for us, thanks again Sword!) and more (non-related) stuff. I'm from Belgium, so this is slightly complicated for me to go see her :P

So once again I pack my imaginary miniature Dutch-English and English-Dutch dictionaries and prepare to take wing (?) once again Friday. This time I'll be taking an easier route: Rather than flying from Brussels to London and then to Plymouth and returning per train, I'll be flying from Brussels to Bristol and taking the train to Plymouth then vice verse.

I've been preparing for this in the past days, hence my raiding inactivity and general disinterest in WoW.

Wrote the first one for someone close to brighten up their mood as they were feeling bad at that time.
Second one has been printed on a small book-like block and stands on my grandmother's grave, bit like a memento i guess.

I was once a proud blood elf warrior of silvermoon citie. deep within the kingdom of quel'thalas.
the sunstrider famely ruled the land. and we where blessed with great times.
we managed to keep ur inner strugle under control... our desire for magic...

but then... arthas came... and slew our king Anasterian

i charged the undeath hordes... slew and defended the citizens... but i was no match for dar'khan.
i was wounded badly... by his fire magic... i managed to escape and team up with some friends.
we tried to get some children out of the citie... but we ran into a trap of dar'khan...

we fought but lost... he made me look as he and his minions slew my friends... the children...
i couden't do nothing... and they where gone... i welcomed my death that i was expecting!

but alas... my fate would be worse then death!

and i was turned into a death knight... and i assisted the lich king with his first invasion of azeroth!
i slew innocent civilians!!! just like the scourge! i even killed my childhood love... who made me remember who i was... who tought i could be saved... she gave her life for me...

we did broke free of the lich king at the battle of light hope chappel!!! and on that unholy day...
i swore the lich king would pay!!! and thus i joined the horde and the guild malice.
and we stroke down naxramas... ulduar... yet i am not satified... also i never had any hope in rvenge...

but now i carry quel delar.

a sword once posseded by my people! the last user stood defiant against the scourge!
and died saving others like i did. and just like i this sword was tainted. but both of us are togheter now!
and both of us will give the lich king what is coming to him!

For the blood elfs!!!

After a recent spec change for my Shammy to resto, at level 22, i have decided to level it up by using instances alone. I am going to see if I can get to 80 this way for a change.

I know sounds silly but I thought might be a diffeent way to level up.

Some know, some don't, but in december i'll be off to Plymouth for 3 days (wish it could be longer, alas i have to study...), 27th to the 30th december.

So i can't commit to any raids then :P

Uni

So some of you may have noticed I've not exactly been a frequent visitor recently. Some special few might even want to know why :) So I thought I'd tell you.

I'm currently engaged in attempting to get my own freelance sysadmin business off the ground. No issue there. The fun is that I'm doing it without leaving my present job. This means I have to do my new work in my evenings and weekends, and while I often have an evening free to play, I can't really commit to having that time free in advance.

The good news is that I should be around a bit more shortly. The bad news is it's because things aren't moving as fast as I'd like. I had hoped to be able to give up my day job and concentrate on this full-time fairly soon, but that's not looking likely. So for the moment I'm scaling back a little, keeping the clients I have so far, and taking things a bit more "long-term-view".

Who knows if I'll get any raids in (I want a Yoggy kill - well done guys!), but at least I can chat to you lot :)

Yeah that's right... There is no more Uni...

From now on Unionshifter is known as Tuari!

Why the name change?
Because "Unionshifter" was just adding two existing words to each other, creating a dull and maybe appropriate name for a druid, but I'm one for RP names. So now I'm called Tuari.

What does Tuari mean?
It originates from the Native American Laguna language and it means Young Eagle.

Can we still call you Uni?
Yes, you must :P
