This is a summary of our current recruitment policy. For the full detail, please visit our
recruitment detail page.
Malice is looking to recruit for all classes to strengthen our core of committed players (except death knights, sorry). There is a greater need for some classes than others, but there is always space in the guild for an experienced, well-geared, and committed player.
If you want to join a well organised guild facing the challenges and fun of the Cataclysm, Malice may be the place for you!
You should:
- be level capped (ie. currently level 85 - exceptions made for 80+ applicants during first few weeks of Cataclysm)
- be willing and able to raid on a regular basis
- want to work hard for your fellow guildies, who will always work hard for you
- be willing to adapt yourself as needed - time schedule, gear, talent spec, etc.
- be willing to die, since dying is a big part of learning new encounters
- be polite to your fellow guild members and all players in general
- be looking for a long term home
- want to have fun!
We are a cosmopolitan guild with a large number of European players, however the guild chat and all raids will be conducted in English. Therefore, we do expect some competence in the language. If you have been able to read and understand both this post and our guild rules then we assume you should be ok.
At a minimum, we expect you to be able to install and run the latest versions of number of applications and in game addons:
- Mumble (voice chat)
- oRA3 or CTRaidAssist
- BigWigs or DeadlyBossMods
- Omen
You may also be asked to install other, class-specific in game addons.
Organised raids usually take place three times a week between 2030 and 0030 game time. You are encouraged to sign up for as many raid nights as you can. If these times are likely to be a problem please say so when you apply.
If you think Malice might be the guild for you then complete an
application form.
